This short film is a heartfelt tribute to two incredible women, Connie Jean McKinnon and Mary Evelyn (Hodges) Hill. Through this piece, I share my personal memories of the valley at Paint Rock, Alabama—a place that shaped so much of who I am today.

Now living in Pittsburgh, I find myself reflecting on the stark contrast between the bustling city and the quiet, intimate beauty of Paint Rock. This film captures those childhood memories of the valley, the warmth of home, and the deep connection to the people who made it special.
